We’re a multi-generational, family-run team serving homes, businesses, and cottages across Orillia, North Bay, and everywhere in between.

What started as a small plumbing business has grown into one of the region’s most trusted names for clean, code-compliant, and long-lasting work. We show up when we say we will. We explain things clearly. And we treat your property like it’s our own.

The origin of our company name, Poly-B, has sparked curiosity and criticism from plumbers worldwide.

Many wonder why we would choose a name associated with polybutylene, a material that was once hailed as the future of plumbing during the 1970s to early 1990s due to its affordability and ease of installation.

However, the material’s flaws became apparent over time, leading to issues with thinning joints that resulted in flooding and a subsequent class action lawsuit against its manufacturers.

This history has led to skepticism from some in the plumbing community, who question our choice of name. In reality, our decision was not to align ourselves with polybutylene but rather to find a unique and memorable name for our business.

After months of brainstorming, Paul Bosse discovered the name Poly-B, which cleverly incorporates his name while also being catchy and easy to remember.

Together with his wife Jody, they embraced the name, confident that it would resonate well with customers.
